After almost 30 years of marital bliss we have raised three boys to adulthood, enjoyed and suffered a real estate career as well as an emu farm, skydived, found Spirit and now own Alpacas and Llamas. With degrees in Art and Engineering (you can guess who for what), there has been an ongoing confrontation and collaboration of a left brain and a right brain to the point that now we tell people "Together we make a whole brain!" Such is a brief and current account of the serial adventures of Susan and Darrell Gray.
For over 20 of these years we have owned and operated our family business specializing in unique, handcrafted jewelry. We design it, we make it and we deliver it, creating smiles on the faces of hundreds of satisfied customers worldwide.
We live just outside Austin, Texas in a rural setting surrounded by an abundance of pets and wildlife. We are lucky enough to live where we work, with the studio being just steps away from our home.
Miss Right Brain is in charge of metal fabrication, wax work, casting flasks, finishing, poems, stone setting, shipping and generally does most of the client communication whether at shows or via phone or email.
Mister Left Brain is in charge of three dimensional computer design, computer rendering, our computer driven mill, investing and wielding the torch & centrifuge during casting. Further tasks include accounting, database management, all product photos, web site upkeep, email campaigns and generally keeping everything working in the studio.
Although we both come up with inspired designs, the final product is usually a confluence of our ideas.

Almost all endeavors cumulating in some form of success are rooted in a belief or personal experience of those involved. We are not unlike in our experience. We feel guided by Spirit from time to time and up pops a new piece of jewelry!
The metal we produce is a reflection and a tactile reminder of passions -be they the innocence seen in an animal or the innocence remembered in the thumbprint of a child -all have the same underlying meaning the form is just different.
We are lucky that we have the enjoyable and purposeful task of creating forms in jewelry reminding or representing the passions of others in a form that can be worn and enjoyed daily. Whether around a neck, in one´s pocket or a purse, a meaningful reminder of our innocence is always wonderful to have.
